Job summary

Securitas Healthcare is seeking an Associate Engineer to support RTLS deployments across hospitals in the US Midwest from a home base. You will travel to client sites for on-site professional services, system configuration, and training, ensuring operational readiness of deployed solutions.

The role requires working in healthcare environments, coordinating with facilities staff, and adapting to travel schedules. Strong technical troubleshooting and customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in electronic/software networking field.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Associate degree in electronics or networking.
• Hands-on testing equipment experience.
• Willing to travel extensively for field service.
• Experience training customers on solutions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; 75 lbs in some cases.
• Climb ladders and work overhead as needed.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in hospital environments during onsite work.
• Install, configure, and commission new systems per procedures.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace customer equipment at sites.
• Perform facility surveys to assess usability of products.
• Provide training to facility staff on operation and maintenance.
• Prepare reports, complete checklists, and manage expenses.
• Attend construction meetings to ensure proper installation.
• Adapt to flexible hours per customer needs.
• Maintain strong customer service and clear communication.
• Arrive on site on time and manage work within schedules.
• Work independently and stay self-directed on projects.
