Job summary

Securitas Healthcare is seeking a Field Service Representative to support the Western region from remote Des Moines, IA vicinity with travel as needed. You will install and configure low‑voltage systems for long‑term care facilities, train end‑users, and resolve issues onsite, including network and software configuration troubleshooting.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to work independently, and frequent travel (up to 100%).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Foundational understanding of low-voltage systems with related training or apprenticeship.
• Ability to obtain state licensing for security systems if needed.

Responsibilities

• Represent and support the Company in the field with installations, surveys and training.
• Install, configure, and commission new systems following procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair customer equipment at sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance by inspecting installed equipment.
• Travel to multiple sites; participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• Document site visits, manage expense reports, and maintain inventory.
