Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to deliver expert-level support for RF and Broadband architectures and ensure accurate documentation for public safety projects. The role requires hands-on on-site work and strong troubleshooting across complex systems.

This position involves traveling up to 75% of the time, with a preference for candidates based in Arizona. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3+ years of experience is expected, along with security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance; travel >75%.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting RF and IP networking systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert-level technical assistance and optimize RF/Broadband architectures.
• Perform on-site infrastructure enhancements and resolve complex issues for public safety clients.
• Create and maintain accurate As-Built documentation.
• Submit comprehensive weekly reports detailing activities and accomplishments.
