Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to provide high-level technical support, optimization, and documentation for specialized communications systems, including RF and Broadband architectures, and essential network infrastructure.

The role requires travel up to 75%+, residency in the Midwest (IL focus) to support Public Safety customers across MO, NE, KS, KY, IN, IA; CJIS security clearance required; base salary range $70k-$85k USD.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, Radio Frequency, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, Military, Motorola equipment, IT Systems, Telecommunications, Public Safety, Engineering or Networking equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced technical support for specialized systems and product applications, focusing on troubleshooting software-driven electronics and optimizing performance for RF and Broadband architectures.
• Program, configure, optimize, test, and document complex communications systems.
• Develop and implement solutions for difficult technical challenges encountered during system implementation, upgrades, or support activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) routines to ensure proper system operation, focusing on trend analysis and meticulous documentation of results.
