Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to deliver expert-level technical assistance, optimize RF and broadband architectures, and create accurate as-built documentation for public safety projects.

You will perform on-site work, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with customers to ensure system integrity across DoD and other sites. A strong background in RF test equipment, networking, and server platforms is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF communications, IP networking, and server administration installation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of LMR systems like P25 trunked/conventional is preferred.
• Security clearance process and ability to travel up to 75% noted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert technical assistance and optimize RF and Broadband architectures.
• Manage on-site deployments, perform system upgrades and resolve complex issues.
• Produce detailed documentation and weekly reporting on activities.
