Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Field Case Manager to cover the South Jersey region and surrounding areas, with a requirement to live in this area. You will partner with the injured worker, employer and medical providers to craft a case management strategy that facilitates medical recovery and a successful return to work through advocacy, communication and coordination of services.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in a US state.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent work experience.
• Certification in case management or rehabilitation nursing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessment via telephone.
• Communicate effectively with claims examiner, client, injured worker and attorney.
• Identify issues delaying recovery and problem-solve creatively.
• Negotiate treatment and disability duration with providers.
• Expedite care for cost containment and timely recovery.
• Recommend alternate clinical resources to support resolution.
• Maintain client privacy and adhere to ethical, legal standards.
