Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Field Case Manager in the South Jersey region. The role requires an active RN license and a BSN, focusing on coordinating care and advocating for timely return to work for injured workers.

You will partner with employers, providers, and workers to manage medical conditions, plan treatments, and support recovery, with a flexible remote work environment and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
• Case management certification highly preferred.
• Experience in telephonic case management or worker rehabilitation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessment via telephone to evaluate the injured worker's injury and care.
• Effectively communicates with the claims examiner, client, injured worker and supervisor to coordinate care.
• Identify issues related to delayed recovery and return to work; problem-solve with a creative approach.
• Negotiate treatment plans and disability duration with providers using medical and disability guidelines.
• Promote cost containment and timely medical recovery; expedite care when possible.
• Maintain client privacy and confidentiality; adhere to ethical, legal, accreditation and regulatory standards.
