Job summary

Amgen Inc. in the United States seeks a Patient Access Liaison (PAL) to support patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and sites of care with insurance coverage and reimbursement pathways for Amgen therapies.

The PAL partners with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy and Site of Care teams to enable timely access and address barriers. This field-based role requires experience in access and reimbursement, with a strong emphasis on compliant education and collaboration across

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent in a healthcare field or related experience.
• Experience in patient services, access and/or reimbursement.
• Knowledge of payer policies, prior authorization and coding.

Responsibilities

• Support patient access and reimbursement for infused therapies.
• Educate providers and sites of care on coverage and billing.
• Navigate prior authorization and denial management processes.
• Provide information on co-pay assistance and patient resources.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs and advocacy teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in internal systems.
