Job summary

The PAL collaborates with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, and Case Management to ensure timely access and education on coverage, prior authorizations, and patient assistance programs. This field-based role requires strong communication and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with patient services experience
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of patient services experience
• Associate’s degree with 8+ years of patient services experience
• High school diploma with 10+ years of patient services experience
• Experience with buy-and-bill or infused therapies and care pathways

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource on patient access and reimbursement for infused and specialty therapies.
• Assist patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers in navigating insurance benefits and prior authorizations.
• Identify and resolve access challenges including coverage questions and denied claims.
• Educate patients on coverage considerations and prior authorization steps.
• Provide information regarding co-pay assistance programs, foundations, and patient resources.
