Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to support patients, caregivers, and providers in navigating insurance coverage and reimbursement pathways for Amgen therapies. This field-based role partners with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Site of Care teams to ensure timely access to therapies and effective patient education.

You will educate on coverage, prior authorizations, and patient assistance programs, while managing assigned cases independently and contributing

Qualifications

• Pharmacist-level knowledge of access and reimbursement processes.
• Experience supporting buy-and-bill or infused therapies.
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to educate providers and patients on coverage and prior authorization.

Responsibilities

• Educate physician offices on therapy coverage pathways and reimbursement processes.
• Support patient access by addressing prior authorization barriers and denials.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy and Site of Care teams.
• Provide information on copay assistance, foundations, and patient resources.
