Chiesi USA, Inc. is seeking a Field‑Based/Remote Key Account Manager in the NC/SC/MS/TN territory to lead strategic accounts, expand patient access for rare disease products, and drive performance across a multi‑state geography.

The role requires a strong track record in pharma sales, deep account management skills, and the ability to collaborate with marketing, medical, and compliance teams to deliver clinical data and payer access information. Travel up to 60% is typical.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year institution (education in science or business a plus).
10+ years pharma industry experience in related, diverse function/roles.
Clinical experience selling specialty/rare disease products in a large geography with multiple states.
Expansive local relationships, access, and market knowledge.
Proven track record of delivering top sales performance that meet or exceed objectives.
Excellent virtual/remote selling and customer engagement skills.
Expansive account management skills.
Proven effective collaboration skills.
Rare disease or biologics selling experience.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and hospital credentialing processes.

Responsibilities

Create awareness around rare disease states based on company marketed products.
Business development and prospecting.
Strategic account management – translate strategy into action.
Plan and work across states and regions of the geography.
Meet or exceed sales forecast, goals, and objectives.
Analyze and execute territory business plan with ongoing updates.
Guide HCPs through prescribing process and support services.
Collaborate with marketing, sales leadership, and internal partners on local market needs.
Execute marketing initiatives and speaker programs.
Support HCP conferences with key messages and approved resources.
Adhere to compliance guidelines and complete trainings.
Submit call activity in CRM (Veeva) and expense reports (Concur).
May travel up to 60% of territory geography and at conferences.
