Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Concord, MA is seeking a Field-based Clinical Specialist to support both robotic (Mako SmartRobotics) and manual orthopedic procedures. You will assist in pre-operative planning, system setup, and real-time workflows to ensure safe, accurate outcomes.

Role requires adaptability, problem-solving in a fast-paced surgical environment, and on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel and hands-on training are integral to this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; associate with 4+ years experience also acceptable.
• Clinical experience in nursing, physical therapy, surgical tech, or related field.
• On-call coverage and ability to handle OR work demands.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures through hands-on training.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues confidently in the OR.
• Shadow teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, cadaver labs, and education programs.
• Build relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage accounts documentation and collaborate with sales partners.
