Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support orthopedic surgeries with both robotic (Mako) and manual procedures. You will assist in pre-operative planning, case preparation, and in‑room support to ensure safe, accurate operations.

The role includes on‑call coverage outside regular hours. You will gain hands‑on experience with Mako software, instrument handling, and OR protocols while building strong relationships with surgeons and OR staff.

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• Experience in healthcare or clinical support is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide solo coverage for manual and robotic orthopedic procedures.
• Assist with pre-operative planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Prepare cases, check instrumentation, and ensure OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Support daily account coordination, inventory management, and logistics.
• Shadow teammates to learn territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, labs, and training events.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional teams.
• Handle administrative tasks for accounts and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales for seamless customer experience.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
