Job summary

Stryker is a leading medical technology company seeking a Clinical Specialist to support orthopedic surgeries worldwide, developing clinical and technical expertise in both robotic (Mako SmartRobotics) and manual procedures. You will assist with pre-operative planning, system setup, and real-time procedural workflows in the operating room, while supporting product demonstrations and education programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: Bachelor’s degree OR Associate degree with 4 years of professional and/or related experience OR High school diploma with 6 years of professional and/or related experience
• Fluency in written and spoken English required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs; stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures through hands-on training
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning using advanced software
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and OR readiness
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room
• Learn workflow for account coordination, including inventory management and logistics
• Shadow experienced teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences
• Participate in product demonstrations, labs, education programs, and customer training events
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons and OR staff
• Manage administrative tasks related to accounts, system updates, and case documentation
• Collaborate with sales partners for seamless execution
