Job summary

United Auto Insurance Agency, Inc. seeks a Field Auto Appraiser to assess auto damage and support timely settlements. The role covers Tampa/Lakeland with remote days and occasional Orlando fieldwork.

You will use CCC One, Audatex, Xactimate, and Mitchell to prepare estimates and verify losses. Requirements include 2+ years in auto/property appraisal, valid driver's license, and strong customer service. Florida All-Lines Adjuster license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property or auto damage appraisal experience in a P&C setting.
• Presentable and reliable vehicle, mileage reimbursement provided.
• Florida All-Lines Adjuster License preferred or able to obtain in 60 days.
• Proficient with auto estimating software and claims databases.
• Strong knowledge of applicable state regulations and repair practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and appraise damaged auto property in person or virtually.
• Prepare itemized repair estimates using industry software.
• Determine repair versus total loss thresholds and next steps.
• Review photos and docs from claimants, shops, or adjusters.
• Collaborate with adjusters, shops, and policyholders to resolve disputes.
• Maintain records for claims processing and compliance.
