Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Field Auto Appraiser - Catastrophic Loss to inspect and evaluate auto vehicles involved in losses. You will appraise in the field, determine repair vs.

replace decisions, and prepare estimates using specialized software while traveling to inspection locations across multiple markets. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of relevant appraisal experience, and strong knowledge of automobiles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and state licensing as applicable.
• Two years of related experience including at least one year of appraisal experience.
• Strong knowledge of automobiles and ability to use appraisal software.

Responsibilities

• Appraises and determines repair costs for vehicles in the field.
• Evaluates repairability versus salvageability using industry tools.
• Travels to inspection locations to appraise vehicles.
• Prepares estimates using estimatics software.
• Collaborates with auto repair facilities to determine supplemental repairs.
