Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser - Catastrophic Loss to inspect, identify, and evaluate auto vehicles involved in a loss. The role involves travel to inspection sites and preparing estimates using estimatics software.

Responsibilities include appraising repairs, determining repairability, and coordinating with repair facilities. CAT deployment experience is a strong plus, with heavy emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automobiles.
• Experience with appraisal software and field estimates.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work in a team and meet performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Appraises and determines costs of repairs to damaged vehicles in the field.
• Evaluates and determines if the vehicle is repairable or salvageable based on industry standards.
• Travels to inspection locations to appraise vehicles in the field.
• Prepares estimates using estimatics software.
• Works with auto repair facilities to determine supplemental repair processing and provide estimates.
