Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support regional sales managers by understanding customer requirements and recommending technical FPGA/DSP-based embedded solutions for aerospace/defense markets. You will present roadmaps and capabilities, and coordinate with internal teams during pre-sales engagements.

The role requires 50%+ travel across the assigned territory, with occasional overnight visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years in Field Applications/Technical Sales/Systems Engineering or similar.
• Strong technical understanding of hardware/software integration and embedded computing systems.
• Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into technical requirements or product recommendations.
• Proven ability to provide technical sales support and collaborate with regional sales managers.
• Experience presenting technical information, product capabilities, and solutions to customers.
• Strong understanding of FPGA/DSP-based embedded hardware.
• Strong understanding of RF and analog technologies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more, including overnight and multi-day trips.

Responsibilities

• Support regional sales managers by understanding customer requirements and recommending technical solutions.
• Present products, technology roadmaps, and capability demonstrations to customers.
• Act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and internal teams during pre-sales engagements.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance throughout the customer relationship.
• Travel regularly to support customers and engage with field operations.
