Job summary

Custom Flavors is seeking a field-based Account Manager to grow customer relationships across Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming. You'll be the main commercial contact for customers in the region, working with our R&D and Applications teams in San Clemente to bring their products to market.

This remote, field-based role requires strong communication and strategic account management. The position involves travel up to 40%, and Salt Lake City area is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in specialty food ingredients, flavors, or a related food or beverage ingredient industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned territory accounts and develop new business.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements within guidelines.
• Develop sales forecasts and track key metrics.
• Coordinate with R&D, Applications Lab, Regulatory, QA, and Customer Service.
