Job summary

Custom Flavors is seeking a field-based Account Manager to expand our client base across multiple western states. You will be the main commercial contact, coordinating with R&D and Applications teams in San Clemente to deliver flavor solutions for food, beverage, and supplement applications.

You’ll retain and grow revenue by managing existing accounts, pursuing new opportunities, and traveling to customer locations and trade shows within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in specialty food ingredients, flavors, or related food/beverage ingredient industry.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related technical field.
• Experience with CRM and ERP systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) preferred.
• Established relationships with food, beverage, or supplement manufacturers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all customer accounts within an assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements within guidelines to meet revenue targets.
• Develop new business with existing customers and identify new project opportunities.
• Travel within territory to drive in-person sales calls and participate in events.
