Job summary

Amgen seeks a Field-based Patient Access Liaison to support patients and providers, guiding insurance coverage and reimbursement pathways for infused therapies.

You’ll engage with Caregivers, clinicians, and sites of care, educating on prior authorization, coding, and patient support programs while collaborating with Market Access and Medical Affairs to optimize access across geographies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s degree with 2–10 years in patient services/access
• Experience supporting buy-and-bill or infused therapies
• Understanding of reimbursement processes including prior authorization, appeals, and denied claims
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as a field-based resource on patient access and reimbursement for infused therapies
• Assist patients, caregivers, and providers with insurance benefits and prior authorization
• Educate on coverage pathways, coding and billing considerations
• Educate physician offices and sites of care on reimbursement processes
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Case Management, and Site of Care teams
