Job summary

Maximus seeks an Eligibility Verification Specialist to support FEHB/PSHB enrollment and dependent eligibility verification. The CSR II serves as the frontline representative for enrollees, providing inbound telephone support, portal access, documentation submission, and case status updates.

This remote role requires residency within 50 miles of Lawrence, KS, and adherence to privacy and security requirements with PII/PHI handling. The position is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (5C) suitability determination and complete background investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service for basic and routine inquiries via multiple channels (telephone, email, web chat, or letters).
• Handles routine calls and may deviate from scripts and procedures.
• Uses computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
• Documents interactions accurately in the FEHB Portal or approved system and escalates when needed.
