Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Eligibility Verification Specialist to support the FEHB Protection Act Compliance and Verification Program. This CSR II role provides inbound telephone support to FEHB/PSHB enrollees, handling eligibility questions, documentation, and portal access from a remote location within 50 miles of Lawrence, KS.

On a contingent award basis, the role emphasizes accurate documentation, privacy protection, and adherence to attendance and quality standards as part of the federal program

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (5C) suitability determination.
• Remote: must reside within 50 miles of Lawrence, KS.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service for basic and routine inquiries via phone, email, web chat, or letters.
• Assists enrollees with Portal access and document upload using approved scripts and resources.
• Authenticates callers and protects PII/PHI per privacy and security requirements.
• Documents each interaction in the FEHB Portal or approved system and escalates complex questions.
