Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Eligibility Verification Specialist to support the FEHB Protection Act Compliance and Verification Program for enrollees. The CSR II provides inbound telephone support for dependent eligibility verification, portal access, and documentation submission.

The role requires a High School diploma and at least 6 months of customer service experience. Remote work is available within 50 miles of Lawrence, KS and candidates must meet security/background requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service for basic and routine inquiries via telephone, emails, web chats, or letters.
• Assists enrollees with Portal access, login issues, and document upload.
• Authenticates callers before sharing case information and protects PII/PHI in line with privacy and security requirements.
• Documents each interaction in the FEHB Portal or other system of record.
• Escalates complex questions per procedures.
• Meets attendance, schedule adherence, call quality, and documentation accuracy standards.
