Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (5C) suitability determination.
• Remote role: reside within 50 miles of McAllen, TX for remote work.
• Ability to access and navigate the OPM FEHB Portal and related resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound customer service for FEHB/PSHB enrollees via multiple channels.
• Answer questions on eligibility verification requirements and documentation.
• Assist enrollees with Portal access, login issues, and document uploads.
• Authenticate callers and protect PII/PHI per privacy rules.
• Document interactions accurately in the FEHB Portal or other record systems.
• Escalate complex issues per procedures and ensure quality and attendance.
