Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Eligibility Verification Specialist to support the FEHB Protection Act Compliance and Verification Program. This CSR II role is a frontline customer service position handling eligibility questions and document submissions for FEHB/PSHB enrollees.

Remote work is required within 50 miles of Lawrence, KS; equipment will be provided. The position is contingent on contract award and requires U.S. citizenship and background clearance; attendance and data accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• May have additional training or education in area of specialization.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (5C) suitability determination.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide inbound customer service for FEHB/PSHB enrollment inquiries via phone, email, chat, or letters.
• Assist enrollees with Portal access, login issues, and document upload.
• Authenticate callers and protect PII/PHI per privacy rules.
• Document interactions in the approved system of record.
