Job summary

Maximus is seeking an Eligibility Verification Specialist to support FEHB/PSHB programs for enrollees, offering inbound telephone support for dependent eligibility verification. The CSR II role handles inquiries, portal access, document submission, and navigation of resources while protecting PII/PHI.

This remote position requires residing within 50 miles of McAllen, TX, and equipment will be provided. Contingent upon contract award and background screening requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance.
• Remote role within 50 miles of McAllen, TX with provided equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides frontline customer service for FEHB/PSHB enrollees via telephone, email, chat, or letters.
• Answers questions on eligibility verification requirements, documentation, deadlines, and case status.
• Assists enrollees with Portal access, document upload, and navigation of program resources.
• Authenticates callers, protects PII/PHI, and documents interactions in the FEHB Portal.
• Escalates complex questions and ensures attendance, call quality, and accurate documentation.
