Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Federal Storage Solutions Architect to drive adoption of HPE storage across U.S. Federal Government customers. You will engage civilian, defense, and SI partners to influence architecture decisions and position HPE as the preferred storage provider.

The role requires TS/SCI with FSP poly, US citizenship, and ~50%+ travel. You will lead technical engagements across block/file/object storage areas and data protection, with a strong focus on federal acquisition

Qualifications

• Requires Federal Clearance -TS/SCI with FSP poly.
• Due to responsibilities with Federal Entities, US citizen status is required.
• This role requires travel of 50%+.
• 6+ years working with or supporting the Federal Intelligence Community.
• Significant experience as a Storage Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record of selling and architecting enterprise storage solutions into Federal accounts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead storage technical advisor and Solutions Architect for assigned Federal accounts.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer mission priorities, environments, and acquisition strategies.
• Architect and position HPE storage solutions across block, file, object, and data protection domains.
• Lead engagements from discovery through sizing, PoC, and technical closure.
• Influence requirements and acquisition strategies during Federal buying cycles.
• Build relationships with customer architects, program teams, and engineering stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Federal Systems Integrators, prime contractors, OEMs, and channel partners.
• Translate mission and workload needs into differentiated storage architectures.
• Maintain technical ownership of strategic opportunities through closure.
