Job summary

Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking a FedRAMP Site Reliability Engineering Senior Technical Leader to own the operations and architecture of the Federal region. You will ensure peak availability, performance, and security for high-volume data streams, implementing an everything-as-code approach while maintaining rigorous FedRAMP compliance across regions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance strategy, design, and accountability within Cisco's Federal engineering initiative,

Qualifications

• Bachelors + 12 years of experience, or Masters + 8 years of experience, or PhD.
• Experience building or operating infrastructure within regulated environments with security controls and compliance for FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC2.
• Experience coding in Python and utilizing Terraform for Infrastructure as Code in production.
• Experience using Kubernetes or equivalent containers.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and architecture of the Federal region to ensure peak availability, performance and security.
• Implement an everything-as-code strategy to design and manage resilient AWS cloud-native services.
• Maintain FedRAMP compliance through automated security controls and continuous auditing.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to optimize multi-region infrastructure.
