Job summary

SMX is seeking an energetic federal financial business analyst to advance the CFO Control Tower Budget and Spend solution for federal customers. You will work with a cross-disciplinary team to analyze budgeting processes, document requirements, and drive improvements using SAP Analytics Cloud and BI tools.

This is a 100% remote, full-time role with up to 20% travel and requires a Public Trust clearance. You will facilitate workshops, create end-to-end documentation, test plans, and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in federal financial management, process analysis, data analytics, or consulting.
• Experience with federal government financial data and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand client objectives, financial operations, and strategic priorities.
• Analyze and document processes, requirements, and decision-making needs.
