Job summary

The Kenjya-Trusant Group, LLC seeks a Contracts Manager to lead negotiations and administration across multiple contract types, supporting the MPO. This full-time, remote role requires DC metro area availability for occasional in-person meetings.

Build relationships with Government Contracting Officers, manage budgets in Unanet, and collaborate with program management, legal and finance to ensure compliant, timely contract execution and negotiations.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• BA/BS with 6+ years of federal contracts management experience.
• Experience with multiple contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M).
• Experience with Unanet is required.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR, DFARS and agency regulations (DoD, DHS, etc.).
• Strong negotiation and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in negotiation, review and execution of federal contracts and subcontracts.
• Manage relationships with Government Contracting Officers and external partners.
• Exercise independent judgment to plan activities and resolve complex contract issues.
• Collaborate with program management, finance, legal and business development on pricing strategies and negotiations.
• Negotiate and administer contracts with IC customers.
• Maintain contract hours and funding budgets in Unanet.
• Prepare subcontracts and teaming agreements as needed.
• Coordinate contract audits and compliance assessments.
