Job summary

HRB is seeking a Contracts Manager to own the full contract lifecycle, from drafting to closeout, for a fast-growing cybersecurity firm serving government and commercial clients. This remote-friendly role reports to the COO and collaborates with finance, programs, and business development.

The position emphasizes compliance with FAR/DFARS, risk management, and building scalable processes in a growing organization. NYC headquarters is offered for East Coast candidates.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Federal/DoD contracting experience, especially contract administration or project controls.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M).
• U.S. Citizen eligible for TS clearance and able to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of contracts from drafting to closeout.
• Manage subcontract lifecycle per federal regulations and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and related requirements.
• Identify and mitigate contractual, financial, and operational risks.
• Lead contract negotiations to favorable outcomes while managing risk.
• Oversee contract modifications, amendments, and pricing changes.
• Prepare and submit required contract deliverables and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with programs, finance, and leadership.
• Maintain audit-ready contract files and documentation.
• Drive process improvements in contract workflows.
