Kent, Campa and Kate Incorporated (KCK) is seeking a Mid Contract Closeout Specialist to support NIH closeout activities. The role involves gathering materials, coordinating with NIH staff and vendors, and ensuring complete closeout files.

It is a full-time position with a remote schedule, located in Bethesda, MD, with potential future hybrid options. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and at least three years of federal contracting experience, including closeout

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• Three years of experience in federal contracting/acquisition support, including closeout of government contracts.
• Experience and understanding of contract closeout processes and procedures.
• PRISM system knowledge and completed PRISM Contract training.
• Experience with IT communication systems.
• Ability to assess contract processes and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Aufgaben

• Gather materials for contracts related activities with NIH staff.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and coordinate contract closeout.
• Communicate with NIH Contracting Officer’s Representative and NIH staff on questions about contracts.
• Train staff in PRISM Contract system and NIH IT programs.
• Ensure access to files for NIH acquisition staff.
• Prepare and issue contract expiration letters to vendors.
• Request missing/final documents from vendors.
• Audit all contract files for closeout and perform desk audits.
• Learn how contracts/files are structured with NIHTEams.
• Comply with HHS Contract Closeout Guide procedures.
• Provide documentation for closeout work products.
• Maintain all closeout files and spreadsheets tracking status.
• Provide status of closeout projects and timelines.
