Job summary

PCI Government Services LLC is seeking a Jr Closeout Specialist to support HHS in a remote environment. You will administer and execute closeouts of federal contracts, task orders, and purchase orders in accordance with FAR and HHS policies, ensuring files are accurate, compliant, and ready for closure.

Responsibilities include end-to-end close-out, reviewing files, reconciling obligations, coordinating with COs and contractors, and maintaining audit-ready documentation while tracking key

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal contracting lifecycle and closeout processes.
• Understanding of FAR requirements and HHS policies.
• Ability to analyze financial data including obligations and deobligations.
• Experience reviewing complex contract files for completeness and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end close-out of contracts, including various award types.
• Review contract files to ensure deliverables and actions are complete.
• Validate invoices paid and funds deobligated with finance offices.
• Reconcile unliquidated obligations and ensure proper financial closeout.
• Coordinate with COs, specialists, offices, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with FAR 4.804 and HHS policies.
• Prepare audit-ready contract closeout documentation.
• Track closeout metrics and performance indicators.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times.
• Support audits, data calls, and management reporting requirements.
