Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Federal Projects in the construction sector, based in Maryland. You will work with the project management team to ensure federal projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with clients, contractors, and government agencies. Travel may be required; PMP/CAPM is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in the construction industry.
• Experience managing federal construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• PMP or CAPM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and execution of federal projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and government agencies.
• Prepare and maintain plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and safety.
• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates.
• Contribute to process improvements within the team.
