Job summary

SMX is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a federal government client. The role is 100% remote with travel <20% and requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. You will oversee SAP Analytics Cloud based planning and reporting, managing scope, schedule, and budget to deliver mission-critical outcomes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of analysts, data engineers and budget SMEs, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and the project meets quality and federal security standards while driving value for federal customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager leading complex IT or financial system implementations.
• Experience managing SAP ERP implementations and upgrades.
• Past work with U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Knowledge of PMP, Agile or Hybrid methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from planning to delivery.
• Act as primary client liaison to SMX and vendors.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee SAC platform understanding and alignment with BAS goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of analysts, engineers, and architects.
• Provide regular status, risk, and financial reporting.
• Ensure quality and security compliance per federal requirements.
