Job summary

SMX is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a key federal government client, delivering planning, budgeting, and reporting using SAP Analytics Cloud.

This full-time, remote role requires navigating federal budgeting processes, coordinating a cross-functional team of analysts and engineers, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with Public Trust clearance. US citizenship is required; travel is minimal.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
10+ years of PM leadership for IT or financial systems.
Proven SAP ERP implementation/upgrade experience.
Experience managing projects for U.S. Federal Government agencies.
Knowledge of PMP/Agile/Hybrid methodologies.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage full lifecycle of the BAS implementation project.
Liaise between federal client, SMX teams and vendors.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with timelines and dependencies.
Maintain understanding of the SAC platform to guide the project.
Lead a cross-functional team of analysts, data engineers, and solution architects.
Provide regular status reports on progress, risks, and finances.
Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and with security compliance.
