Job summary

SMX is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a federal government client. The role is 100% remote with occasional travel (<20%) and will require a Public Trust clearance.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle, coordinate with client stakeholders, SMX teams, and vendors, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with federal security protocols. SAP Analytics Cloud focus for planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years as a Project Manager for IT or financial systems.
• Experience managing SAP ERP implementations.
• Experience delivering projects for U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Knowledge of PMP/Agile/Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong leadership and communication across stakeholders.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of the CFO BAS implementation, from initiation to closure.
• Serve as primary client liaison to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Develop and maintain the project plan, manage risks and dependencies.
• Oversee SAC planning and reporting aspects to guide decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of analysts, engineers and architects.
• Provide regular status reports on progress, risks and budget.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to security standards.
