SMX is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower Budget and Spend (BAS) implementation for a key U.S. federal government client.

The role demands expertise in federal budgeting, SAP Analytics Cloud, and complex program management, with a strong focus on delivering value and mission success. You will oversee planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across a cross-functional team of analysts, data engineers, and solution architects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager leading complex IT or financial system implementations.
Proven experience managing SAP ERP implementation and upgrade projects for U.S. Federal Government agencies.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage the full lifecycle of the CFO BAS implementation project, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Serve as the primary liaison between federal client stakeholders, SMX teams, and third‑party vendors.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, outlining tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.
