Job summary

SMX is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead the CFO Control Tower BAS implementation for a federal government client. You'll guide planning, budgeting, and reporting using SAP Analytics Cloud, working with a cross‑functional team of analysts, data engineers, and budget SMEs.

The role is 100% remote with minimal travel (<20%) and requires US citizenship and a Public Trust clearance. A strong background in SAP ERP/ SAC and federal budgeting is essential to drive value and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of PM experience leading IT or financial system implementations.
• Proven SAP ERP implementation and upgrade experience.
• Experience managing projects for U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Understanding of PMP/ Agile/ Hybrid methodologies.
• US citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from planning to delivery for BAS solution.
• Serve as primary client liaison to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan with risks and mitigations.
• Maintain understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud and BAS functionality.
• Coordinate cross‑functional team and vendors to deliver capabilities.
• Provide regular status reports on progress, risks, and budgets.
• Ensure delivery meets client requirements, on time and within budget.
