Qualifications

• Extensive backend engineering experience with ownership of distributed systems.
• Direct FCM or derivatives experience with hands-on ownership of futures lifecycle components.
• Proficiency in a modern backend language (Go preferred; Java or similar).
• Experience in a regulated financial environment ensuring correctness and auditability.
• Track record delivering end-to-end from scoping to implementation and replatforming.

Responsibilities

• Own design and architecture across the FCM core, from data to settlement and risk.
• Drive the next-gen replatforming while reducing dependencies and improving stability.
• Set the technical bar through reviews and standards; reduce critical debt.
• Partner with Product, Risk, Ops, Finance, and Compliance to deliver auditable systems.
• Mentor engineers and scale engineering quality across the team.
