The FCM Tech Lead will own architecture across the FCM lifecycle, from market data to settlement and risk, guiding a major replatforming effort and reducing legacy dependencies. The role demands hands-on delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring while maintaining high standards for auditable, reliable systems in a regulated trading environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive backend ownership of production systems.
• Experience with FCM or derivatives is a plus.
• Proficiency in a modern backend language (Go preferred) and event-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own design and architecture across the FCM core, from market data to settlement and risk.
• Drive next-gen replatforming, reduce legacy dependencies, improve stability and reliability.
• Set technical standards via code reviews and architecture decisions.
• Mentor engineers and act as a force multiplier to raise engineering quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, Ops, Finance, and Compliance to deliver auditable systems.
