Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron’s online auction services.

This field-based, remote-friendly role covers an assigned local territory in the United States, with daily travel and a company vehicle provided. You’ll build relationships with farmers, ranchers, dealers, and agribusinesses while helping customers market and sell equipment through our online marketplace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales, territory management, or customer-facing experience.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local agribusinesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet customers on farms, at shops, and throughout the territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with internal marketing, listing, and operations teams to prepare equipment for sale.
• Support customers through the auction process and post-sale service.
• Manage and grow revenue within the territory.
