Job summary

BigIron is seeking a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron’s online auction services. The role involves developing customer relationships, generating new business, and guiding customers through the auction process from start to finish.

Field-based outside sales with daily travel in a local territory; home-based office when not meeting customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or business development experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout your territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategy, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare equipment for sale.
• Support customers throughout the auction process and provide ongoing service after the sale.
• Manage and grow revenue within your territory.
