Job summary

BigIron is hiring a full-time Equipment Sales Representative to support customers in the agriculture industry by selling BigIron's online auction services. You will manage an assigned local territory and work directly with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and ag businesses.

This role involves developing customer relationships, generating new business, and guiding customers through the auction process from start to finish, with field travel and home-based office when not meeting

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales, territory management, or customer-facing business development experience.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to travel regularly within the territory and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, ranchers, landowners, equipment dealers, and local ag businesses.
• Prospect for new business through in-person visits, referrals, networking, and phone outreach.
• Meet with customers on farms, at shops, and throughout your assigned territory.
• Evaluate equipment and discuss auction timing, pricing strategy, and selling options.
• Secure consignment agreements for upcoming auctions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare equipment for sale and support customers through the auction process.
