Vets2PM LLC is offering a DoD SkillBridge Internship for a Facility Assessor I in a remote role. The ideal candidate will have HVAC and electrical experience and a foundation in building systems. Active-duty U.S. military members eligible for SkillBridge are encouraged to apply.

This internship includes mentorship, training opportunities, and remote work flexibility. Candidates should be prepared for travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites as needed and must have strong data-analysis and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Certifications in construction technologies (NCCER, NICET, HVAC, Carpentry, OSHA 10-Hour, BPI).
• Minimum of one year of technical experience evaluating systems and components in real property assets.
• Experience creating reports with actionable engineering-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site visual assessments of facility systems and components to determine operating efficiency and remaining life expectancy.
• Travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites for facility condition assessments (up to 50%).
• Use software tools on computers/tablets to input and maintain assessment data.
• Develop and validate work packages for CMMS FM.
• Ensure data accuracy through updates and reporting.
• Generate inventory condition reports and updates for client portfolio.
