Job summary

Siemens invites active-duty U.S. military personnel to participate in a SkillBridge internship in collaboration with Vets2PM.

You will gain hands-on experience diagnosing HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security systems and work toward valuable industry exposure with one of the world’s leading technology companies. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated technical experience with mechanical, electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic, mechatronic, or related systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written).
• Demonstrated ability to interface with customers and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work on-site and travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to diagnose HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security electronic control system malfunctions and assist with maintenance, repair, or installation.
• Consult with internal engineering and management for discrepancies or problems.
• Interface with customers to complete service work documentation, provide training guidance, and recommend system enhancements.
