Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Configuration Manager to lead end-to-end configuration delivery for healthcare payer implementations and transformations. You will drive governance, quality, and execution across multiple Facets areas, mentoring onsite and offshore teams and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure program success.

This remote role is open to qualified applicants within the United States, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, risk management, and executive reporting to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, business, healthcare or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in healthcare payer tech, delivery, or implementation.
• 5+ years in leading Facets configuration teams and large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of payer operations across Commercial/Medicare/Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration delivery across Facets areas: Membership, Group, Product & Benefits, Provider, Claims, Billing, and more.
• Translate requirements into scalable configuration solutions with governance and controls.
• Manage scope, timelines, estimates, releases, and environment promotions.
• Oversee migration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Drive reviews, risk mitigation, and release management processes.
• Provide leadership to onsite and offshore teams and foster collaboration.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes.
• Deliver executive reporting, governance updates, and delivery metrics.
