Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product & Benefits Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement healthcare products and benefit plans within the Facets platform. This remote-US role collaborates with analytics, operations, QA, and technology stakeholders to deliver compliant, scalable, and high-quality benefits solutions.

The role requires 6+ years in healthcare payer space, strong Facets configuration expertise, and a bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or healthcare administration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience
• 4+ years hands-on Facets Product & Benefits configuration experience
• Strong expertise in Facets configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Deep understanding of healthcare benefit design and network variations
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable configuration solutions
• Experience supporting end-to-end testing and production validation

Responsibilities

• Analyze benefit requirements and regulatory mandates to design configurations.
• Configure, validate, and maintain Facets components for accurate benefits and claims.
• Assess impacts across membership, provider networks, pricing, and accumulators.
• Create configuration documentation, mapping artifacts, and decision logs.
• Develop and execute testing scenarios for benefit logic (deductibles, copays, coinsurance).
• Troubleshoot defects and partner with teams for product launches and changes
