Job summary

Evans, Inc. seeks a Technical Operations Training Lead SME to support the FAA contract Training Subgroup. You will lead development and coordination of technical operations training materials with subject matter experts to ensure FAA maintenance and operations standards are met.

Mostly remote with occasional on-site at FAA HQ and DOT HQ in Washington DC. Apply your deep FAA Tech Ops experience to align curricula, facilitate subgroup meetings, and produce briefing materials for FAA leadership.

Qualifications

• Direct FAA Tech Ops systems, equipment, or maintenance training experience.
• Experience leading training curricula for technical audiences.
• Familiarity with FAA Tech Ops training processes and standards preferred.
• Strong facilitation and leadership skills with subgroup leadership experience.
• 20 years of relevant experience; degree credits applied as described in the candidate criteria.
• Air traffic control technical/operational work experience in En Route/Oceanic or Terminal environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Training Subgroup efforts to identify, develop, and coordinate Tech Ops training requirements.
• Develop training plans, curricula, and materials for new systems, equipment, or maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with FAA Tech Ops training orgs, facilities, and SMEs to align content with maintenance requirements.
• Facilitate subgroup meetings, capture actions and status updates for leadership.
• Review and validate training materials for accuracy against FAA standards.
• Support needs assessments and gap analyses for technical operations initiatives.
